Guest Speaker

Dianne Carroll OAM has been publicly speaking to promote the Trans-Help Foundation at many functions, institutions and events.

The response of her heart wrenching background and the unique ordinary presentation has bought many audiences to tears, more importantly resulting in genuine empathy for the side effects of the transport industry.

Dianne prefers to be out there on the road with husband Peter, lending an ear, providing support and encouraging that “tough truckie” to look after his health. It is also important the general public understand the side effects and hardship faced by those who carry out country.

The publicity has, and continues to raise much needed awareness, but it has also resulted in an increased number of families seeking the assistance of the Trans-Help Team.

As all the money donated to Trans-Help is used to assist in operating their 1300 number, which is best identified as a life line for the transport industry, operating their health units and respite facility, also the printing and distribute free support resources.

It has been Dianne’s dedication that resulted her being named the 2010 Australia’s Most Helpful Person by AMEX/Oprah during Oprah’s visit to Australia, which injected $100,000 prize money into the foundation.

Dianne is available to speak, but all travel and accommodation costs need to be paid for by the event organiser.
